We have a rather small 5 game NBA slate tonight and a lot of fantasy goodness to work with. The lowest projected point total on the slate is 209 points. It’s not all roses though , there are a ton of injury questions that need clarification, there are a few games with blow out risk, the golden state offense is in the slate, and the Spurs are on the backend of a back to back. Let’s break the games down and see what may be appealing. As a side note the picks for the site will be going up early today ( you know it’s holiday time we do have responsibilities outside of Dfs lol). That being stated if you have any questions about possible pivots feel free to e mail me up until 7 pm this evening and I’ll try to help you out. On to the games.
New Orleans vs Indiana
Good pace up game for both teams and both teams aren’t really great on defense. Targeting this game the Brow is in a great spot as no one on Indiana will be able to guard him , in addition Drue Holliday and Langston Galloway should benefit due to the doubtful status of Tim Frazier. Not much interest on the Pacers for me outside of Jeff Teague
Bucks vs Bulls
Need to monitor Rajon Rondo status if he sits Jimmy Butler enters must play status for me and I would also consider Dwayne Wade.
If Rondo plays I’m off wade and slight downgrade to Butler. Robin Lopez is in play as all he does is pay 5x value. From the bucks the Greek Freak if healthy deserves consideration at a somewhat weak shooting guard position in what should be a competitive game. Jabari Parker deserves a look as he has been paying 5x value on this salary.
Spurs vs Suns
Need to monitor Spurs as it’s a back to back someone may sit. The Spurs projected total is 5.5 points higher than their season average so some exposure is warranted . I will be principally looking at kawai Leonard and Lamarcus Aldridge
Denver vs Blazers
Denver rotations are maddening. Gary Harris may return today so may be a source of value. Portland I love C j McCollum but a little expensive for my roster construction ditto for mason plumlee.
Warriors vs Knicks
Extreme blow out risk but I like the warriors as a whole save maybe Klay Thompson even though shooting guards against the Knicks is a thing . On the Knicks side Brandon Jennings and the Knicks second unit especially Kyle O Quinn can be looks at if the game becomes a blow out
