Evan’s Last Take On Week 4

Week 4 research is about done, so it’s time to start narrowing down our choices by position. Not much has changed since our pod cast , well maybe a little bit so let’s begin. Note the suggestions are not in any particular order of preference and at the bottom of the article I’ll supply you with an initial shell  cash lineup that you can use or play around with to help with your own line up process.

Cam Newton $9300
Has the highest floor of any quarterback on the slate. He will have to be Mr do everything in this matchup against Atlanta . Atlanta doesn’t generate much of a pass rush but have done a good job shutting down Greg Olsen through the years. I also expect Kelvin Benjamin to have a date with Mr Trufant so I’m expecting Cam to carry the offense.

Alex Smith $6900
Strictly a tournament play and will be unowned maybe one percent . As discussed on the pod as if the Chiefs get behind they will have to throw a ton against a suspect Steelers secondary .

Matthew Stafford $8300
A personal favorite of mine . Stafford last year finished as the  number 1 or 2 rated Quarterback  for the week last year when they played the Bears. Detroit will throw the ball often in this matchup .

Phillip Rivers $8500
Rivers let a lot of people down last week me included but I have no problem going back to him in this matchup against the Saints

Kirk Cousins $7600
May be my favorite quarterback on the slate. Great matchup vs the Browns . If cousins limits his mental errors he could have a top 5 quarterback performance this week.

Running back a lot of chalk here
Jordan Howard $5600
Going to be very chalky due to his matchup, price, and opportunity . He has a clear path to 20 touches and is game script independent. Have no reason to fade him.

Melvin Gordon $7600
New Orleans was ripped apart by Atlanta. He has no competition for carries but I always question his pass game involvement . A word of warning the Chargers may be without 3 offensive linemen in this game.

David Johnson $8700/ Leveon Bell $8300
Grouping these guys together both are virtually matchup proof and are game script independent . Both are heavily involved in the passing game and are legitimate three down backs. I prefer Bell due to a slightly easier matchup.

Also consider  Carlos Hyde

Wide Receiver
Cole Beasly $5200
With Dez Bryant ruled out we will see an uptick in his targets. Cole has averaged 7 receptions per game to start the season

Larry Fitzgerald $7500
Seven or more receptions and over ten targets a game. Number one targeted wide receiver in the red zone in the NFL

Terrelle Pryor $7000
Just play the man its that simple. Note is price on draft kings is $4300 don’t get cute here especially in cash games.

Antonio Brown $9400
Expensive but consistent

Steve Smith Sr $6100
Leads Baltimore in targets and usage is increasing by the week.

Tight end
Coby Fleener $5400
Hate to play him but the middle of the field should be open for him especially if Willie Snead misses this game

Hunter Henry $4500
If Antonio Gates sits fire him up to cheap and more exposure against the Saints

Zach Miller $5000
Safety valve for Brian Hoyer

Texans $4900
Like them more with J j Watt but the Titans have been very sloppy this year

New England $4500
Sammy Watkins is out the Patriots will erase Lesean McCoy . I expect a very low scoring game here

Arizona $5300
If the salary is available I’ll pay up here. The Rams are terrible on offense forget about last week against Tampa bay

Who ever you can make fit
